We offer a free initial 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss your needs. If you have never had therapy before this will also allow you to ask any questions. If you proceed, fees for psychological assessment and therapies (including online) start from £100 per 50 minute individual session. The fee reflects the length of sessions and clinician's level of experience. Therapy must be proceeded by 1-2 Psychological Assessment sessions, with the latter recommended.
From £100. Individual, 50 minutes. Minimum x 2 sessions recommended
From £100. 1:1, 50 minutes, weekly, same time recommended.
From £130. 1 hour 20 minutes. Maximum 4 people for FT.
Short letters (not assessments/reports) start from £25. Please discuss as costs depend on time, purpose and complexity. Psychologists do not provide occupational fit notes.
T&C: Advance rescheduling will not attract a fee if this occurs less than once monthly, and with more than one week's notice. If the rescheduled appointment is not attended, the full original fee plus new DNA fee is payable (2 sessions in total). A £40 fee is payable if a session is rescheduled with more than 3 days', but less than one week's, notice.
T&C: Full fee payable if cancelled, including rescheduled, with less than 3 full working days (Mon-Fri) before scheduled appointment. Non-attendance (DNA) will be charged at full rate and will require full pre-payment of all future sessions. If a person DNAs on 3 occasions or more within 12 months sessions will not be continued. Please be aware that if you are insured, some insurers ask clients to pay this fee - check your policy. At least 1 week's notice is reasonably expected.
From £90 per hour non-commercial, depending on specialism, 1:1, 50 min.
Fee dependent on number, duration, specialism etc from £100 per hour
From £100. Hourly base rate
£100 hourly base rate plus travel, accommodation (if required) and any additional or specialist training costs. Specialist block training can be costed separately. Please enquire for details.
T& C NOTE: Any requested calls, letters or reports (to be read or written) take additional time outside of paid sessions and will thus be charged at an additional fee in line with hourly rates; these are, however, optional. Private psychologists do not get involved with legal issues unless this is the strict remit for which they are contracted. If we are approached by a client's solicitors to confirm non-urgent safeguarding issues we will provide factual information on a need to know basis only. Unless there is a public interest not to do so based on the risk principle, the response will be provided directly to the client. Clients should avoid sending repeated or lengthy emails outside of sessions. These cannot be answered outside of agreed sessions and may incur a pro-rata fee. This helps to maintain appropriate boundaries. Emails and texts cannot be answered outside of working hours or at weekends. Clients are responsible for arranging and changing session times directly.
